A fun bi-monthly assignment which asks students to look through faith-related quotes (categorized into 16 topics) and share what they think they mean and how they can apply them to their own lives. Students are also asked to create a faith-focused quote of their own and explain what it means. Finally, students are asked to create an "eye-popping, soul-punching, Quote Dog" poster (either with paper or on a pre-provided Keynote slide). Posters will then be shared during a fun all-class "Museum Tour" activity.
I began writing down faith quotes when I was in high school and have continued to do so ever since (oftentimes new quotes come along via books I'm reading, podcasts I listen to, homilies at Mass, etc.). With the addition of a number of student-created quotes my full list of "Quote Dogs" is now 60 pages long!
